"RUBY RED" COLLABO WITH PHIL LOVING of "Philip Loving III collections""

Ok guys! This is something a little new. I was contacted to do this look by a very talented long time friend of mines,Philip Loving. The Creator and CEO of the well known shoe line "Philip Loving III Collections". He has worked with everyone from Letoya Luckett to Keri Hilson. The best shoe artist I know, he hails from Houston Texas. Even in a city as big as Houston, he still manages to standout amongst the most elite, with his magical approach to totally transforming any pair of shoes into "walking art". His Art can be purchased at Lady Elle Boutique owned by famed R&B singer formerly of Destiny's Child, Letoya Luckett or on his website www.Philiploving.com. This look I chose to do was inspired by Phil's newest work, the "Ruby Red" peep toe heel. I am in love with these. I went with a black and red smokey eye, and  a Ruby Red lip. Below are a few photos of the look, as well as a few photos of Phil with some of his most popular celebrity clientele. Be sure to check out his website @ www.philiploving.com to purchase a pair of these FAB shoes. Feel free to follow him on twitter @Philiploving and follow me @SHEISPICASSO. Tell him I sent ya! Support good art! Check photos after the jump! <3

FRESH FACE

Let's face it ladies, no one wants to wear makeup everyday. Most of the time, I choose to wear some sort of makeup. Be it, lip gloss, lipstick, mascara or just MSF (MAC's mineralized skin finish). Though I do not need makeup to look polished. A lot of the time,I wear it anyways. I love it so! Now since I have great skin to begin with, I choose to skip on the foundations for the most part and use a tad bit of finishing powder in order to keep the little oiliness at bay. So, you want to have a fresh face without all of the extras? I recommend trying a tinted moisturizer and a nice pale toned splash of color for the lips. In the below photo I am wearing a tinted moisturizer and a simple peachy nude lip. And of course the brows are groomed! That is a must! Peep below photo!

COLOR BLOCKING

The color block look is far from new. This trend has been around for a long time. And it's coming back with quite a BANG! There are many ways to make this look work for you. Whether you take the easy route, or go full throttle, you can not go wrong with this bold fashion statement. I will warn you though, this look is not for the faint of heart. Remember, a rooky would call  this mix-matching! A fashionista would know that this is color blocking. Simply put, color blocking is taking two totally opposite colors and making them intertwine. I personally have never been the matchy, matchy type. I've always done what most would frown upon. So........ below is a photo of me color blocking with a bold green lip and pink shadow. I've also added a few photo's of color blocking when it comes to clothing. Enjoy!

Orange/ Coral Lips with winged Liner

Hey Beauties! Okay, so as we all know, corals & oranges were a  big trend this past year. With Spring time quickly approaching, I decided to give you guys a few of my favorite oranges & corals. I mean, since it made such a big buzz, last year, I know that it'll definitely be in again this time around! I personally love this look with a neutral eye. Since the lips are sure to speak volumes, the rest of the face should pretty much be muted. Below are a few photos of me wearing one of my absolute favorite orange lip colors. Enjoy!

The orange tone that I chose in this look is one of my favorite. The color is an orange/coral tone called "Shantung". It is a matte liquid color, that comes out a bit paste like. The finish of this lip color could be quite drying, so be sure to use only on smooth and moisturized lips. Otherwise this finish will accentuate every dry spot or crack in the lip! And we definitely don't want that. The thing I love about this lip color, is that it is true to color. What you see is exactly what you get! No base needed. It also has a very velvety finish, when applied correctly. Color can be found anywhere 'Sally Hansen's' is sold. Walmart,Walgreens, etc. As well as online. Amazon and ebay.

GET THE LOOK: I simply used a tinted moisturizer and finishing powder on the face. (Note: When wearing bold colors on the lips, it is imperative that your foundation is totally flawless. Otherwise it can be a bit tacky looking.IMO!) I then Placed a brown toned eye shadow a couple of shades darker than my skin tone all over the lid. Next I used a highlight shade under the brow. Winged out my eyeliner. Then topped the look off with my lip color. No lip liner necessary! Totally optional.

As always Thanks for reading beauties and Have a great evening! <3 Toodles~~~~~~~~~
