Girl let me use some of your lipgloss.....

We all have been there. Out with a few girlfriends, and one asks "Girl let me use some of your lipgloss?" Now, the initial reaction would probably be, sure! Now as rude as it may seem to say no. Check out a few of these suggestions on how to handle this type of situation and some of the reasons why you should reconsider handing over that lipgloss.

* Lips, mouths and throats are home for many nasty germs. Some harmless, and some just plain old disgusting.
* Lips may seem safe, but they can still have spit on them and they split and bleed.
* Oral herpes may be found around the lip area. YIKES!


How to handle this:
*Keep two lipglosses, one for you and one for others who insist on borrowing it. (I know what you're thinking, well multiple people will still be using the same lipgloss. Well hey, the point is everyone who has the nerve to borrow someone else's lipgloss all have one thing in common. They are not concerned with sharing lipgloss).
*Jokingly say "girrrrrl, I don't know how you use someone else's lipgloss without being afraid of germs!"
*Simply say, "I just got over a cold, and I don't want to pass it along"
