As a person whom loves to be an inspiration to people, especially young women whom I often see myself in. I have been moved to reach out to "50" lucky young women to be featured on my blog. The problem is, I need your help! Do you remember being a young girl, and having that one older girl whom you adored and looked up to? I sure do. Well, these days a good mentor, or even someone to just look up to are far and few. The lack of inspiration in our young women these days are a big cause in the amount of under-aged pregnancies, high school dropouts, and runaways. Quite often they seek love and attention from young men, who way too often show them the wrong kind of "love". Our young women are being used, abused, raped, and mislead. For many of them their life is over before it even starts. I can remember how excited I was to get my first pair of earrings with the matching necklace, and when I received my first lip gloss!!!!! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. My older sisters whom never left the house with a strand of hair out of place. My mom who taught me that beauty starts from the inside. She trained me to care about how I looked. She lead by example. I believe with all of my heart that those little things, made me the woman I am today. Growing up I never imagined walking into a grocery store and seeing a grown woman or younger girl for that matter, wearing pajama's, bonnets,or out in public with the crust of sleep matted in her eyes. The mere shock of what has become of this generation.This may be news to you guys who are reading this, but where i'm from, it's the norm! I see myself wondering whom will the future women of the world have to look up to? That's where you come in at. I will be providing a list of young women to be sponsored by you! That's right you. What do you have to do you ask? It's simple. Send a beauty item, feminine hygiene item,or anything of your choice directly to the home of the young woman, complete with a signed card imprinted by a sweet little note, words of encouragement or a quote that gets you by. Something that makes you feel special. The young woman will have one responsibility.That is to upload a photo of them holding the gift you gave. They will in turn give a brief word of thanks. Tell what inspires them, and what they strive to be when they get older. This will all be documented on my blog, and hopefully yours as well! This will give these young women something more to be proud of! Featured on a blog, for the world to see! Now do you know how special something that small will mean to these young women.
